How much does a private sunset cruise cost?

Cruiser 36 costs $650 USD for a private 3-hour charter with up to 8 guests. Princess 49 costs $950 USD for up to 10 guests, plus $50 USD per additional guest, with a maximum of 20. Prices are per charter, not per person.

What time does the sunset cruise leave?

Both yachts offer a 4:00 PM departure and a 7:00 PM return. This is a 3-hour private tour. Your hotel pickup is earlier; we confirm the pickup time with your location and booking details.

Where does the cruise depart?

Both yachts depart from and return to Bibijagua Beach in Bávaro, Punta Cana. The route includes the reef for snorkeling and the Natural Pool. We confirm your exact pickup time and meeting details with your hotel or villa.

Are food, drinks and transfers included?

Both boats include roundtrip hotel or villa transport, captain and crew, drinks and music. Cruiser 36 includes fresh fruit and nachos with pico de gallo. Princess 49 includes tropical fruit, chicken and vegetable skewers, and assorted snacks. Tell us about allergies or dietary needs when requesting your quote.

Will we see the sunset from the yacht?

The 4–7 PM slot lets you enjoy the late-afternoon light and evening scenery along the coast. The time of sunset changes through the year, and clouds and weather affect visibility. A clear view of the sun is not guaranteed.

Is this a shared party boat?

No. Cruiser 36 and Princess 49 are reserved exclusively for your group. Choose Cruiser 36 for up to 8 guests or Princess 49 for up to 20. Other boats may be present at the Natural Pool, but your yacht remains private.

Can we swim or snorkel during the tour?

The Bavaro itinerary includes water activities, subject to weather, sea conditions and available daylight. Your captain decides when and where a stop is suitable. Tell us your priorities when requesting availability.

What happens if the weather changes?

For a severe natural phenomenon (excluding rain) or an official prohibition by the Dominican Navy, 100% of the deposit is refunded. Rescheduling can be coordinated for severe rain when the Dominican Navy determines that the charter cannot safely operate. Read the booking policies below.

Clear booking & cancellation policies

The following terms match the quote emails for Cruiser 36 and Princess 49.

Deposit & payment

A $250 USD deposit secures your date and yacht once availability is confirmed. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Zelle and bank transfer.

Confirm the remaining balance deadline, your pickup location and any optional extras in your written quote before paying. No payment is collected on this page.

Cancellations

  • 3 or more days before the booked date: 100% refund of the payment.
  • 1–2 days before: 50% refund of the payment.
  • Same-day cancellation: the full price is payable.
  • Holiday exception: cancellations for December 24–January 7 and Holy Week are charged 100% of the deposit.

Weather & rescheduling

A severe natural phenomenon (excluding rain) or an official Dominican Navy prohibition qualifies for a 100% deposit refund.

Rescheduling can be coordinated for severe rain when the Dominican Navy determines that the charter cannot safely operate.
